What to see (Hits:)

There are a variety of sites of cultural interest which form the main tourist attractions in the capital. One of these is Wutai Mountain, one of China's four major sacred Buddhist Mountains which features beautiful scenery and unspoiled natural surroundings. Other key attractions include the Chongshan and Jinci Temple, the provincial museum and the ancient town of Pingyao.
