Yangzhou is located between 119.01 to 119.54 degrees east longitude and 31.56 to 33.25 degrees north latitude and in the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Grand Canal. It is in the south of Jiangsu province, the north bank of lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the south end of Jianghuai Plain.
